A Valentines Day Wedding with Sarah and Lee

On Monday we photographed the wedding of Sarah and Lee.

It was a very blustery, wet Valentines Day which meant we were unable to get outside for the photography.

However, the weather did not dampen the spirits and we had a lovely, relaxed day with Sarah and Lee.

We were lucky that Lazaats had a small covered area. This gave us the opportunity to take some of the couple portraits outside.

We have shot a lot of weddings but seldom has one been as calm and organised as this one. Sarah and Lee had left plenty of time for photography and were both on time for their portraits.

Baby Arabella was beautifully behaved and took the whole thing in her small stride.

Sarah and Lee are a really lovely couple and we wish them every happiness in their future life together.

A Winter Wedding with Rachael and Paul

On Saturday we photographed the wedding of Rachael and Paul at Rise Hall.

It was a rainy blustery day which meant that we shot all of our photographs inside. Rise Hall is a good option for a winter wedding as it provides lots of space to do this.

We started the day with Rachael who was getting ready in the Swift Suite. After taking a few photographs of the bride and the dress, we headed into the hall to meet up with Paul and his groomsmen.

Rachel looked stunning in her dress from Coates Couture and we were able to take some quick portraits of her before she headed downstairs for the ceremony.

Rachael’s son escorted her into the room before handing over to her dad who walked her down the aisle.

The happy couple were piped out of the room and joined guests for a celebratory drink before the group photographs.

Speeches from the groom, best man and the couples sons entertained guests before dinner was served.

The groom and the rest of the guests were surprised by a performance from the Ultimate Singing Waiters and much fun was had by all!

The traditional cake cutting took place before the first dance. Following this the party got into full swing.

Rachael and Paul are a lovely couple and we wish them every happiness in their life together.

Pre wedding photography with Rachael and Paul

On Saturday we met Rachael and Paul to discuss the arrangements for their wedding.

They are getting married at Rise Hall later this month.

It was a very windy, cold day so we decided to take most of their photographs inside.

Luckily Rise Hall has a lot of lovely spaces to choose from. However, we were a little restricted as the venue was open for viewing. This meant that we were not able to choose our favourite spots and had to move on a couple of times to make way for others.

Despite this, Rachael and Paul were very good humoured and natural in front of the camera. This means that we are sure to have a wonderful time photographing them on their wedding day.

Pre wedding photography with Sarah and Lee

Sarah and Lee are getting married on Valentines day. We met up with them last week at Lazaat for their pre wedding photo shoot and to discuss their plans.

Our pre shoot is a chance for us to get to know our couple. It also helps us to understand the arrangements for their wedding. It also give the couple a chance to get used to being in front of the camera. This ensures that they get the best from their wedding photography.

Sarah and Lee were very relaxed in front of the camera. This makes our job as photographers so much easier! We are very much looking forward to photographing their wedding day.

A Wedding at the Country Park Inn with Megan and Shaun

On Saturday we photographed the wedding of Megan and Shaun at the Country Park Inn, Hessle.

The riverside location provides a beautiful backdrop for wedding photography and we were lucky to have a sunny day.

We started our photography for the day with Megan and her bridemaids. Preparations began early for the ceremony at 11 o clock.

Shortly before we met up with Shaun and best man Josh to take some portraits before they headed inside to meet the registrars.

We then went back to see Megan and to complete her bridal portraits.

Once guests were assembled Megan was escorted down the aisle by dad Alan to meet her groom.

Following the service guests enjoyed a celebratory drink in the foyer before heading outside for the all important family group photographs. This is a special part of any wedding and captures precious memories for the couple.

The early start afforded us the luxury of time. This gave us plenty of opportunity to create some special photographs for Megan and Shaun.

The guests enjoyed afternoon tea with the happy couple before they all took a short break.

We met up afterwards with Megan and Shaun to conclude their couple portraits. Hessle Foreshore provides a stunning backdrop for photographs and we were pleased to have sufficient time to do it justice.

In the evening the couple were joined by more family and friends for the celebrations and the first dance.

Megan and Shaun are such a lovely couple and we very much enjoyed photographing their special day. We wish them every happiness in the future.
