I am delighted to share the preview wedding photography for Amy & Michael who were married yesterday at Rowley Manor. We arrived bright and early and were able to take some images of Amy and her bridesmaids Gemma, Emma & Jenna whilst they were busy getting ready. The bridal suite is lovely at Rowley and we have lots of natural light at our disposal which helps with the photographs. Amy had a tea length dress that was from Bride & Co, and the bridesmaids dresses were from The Wedding Collection. As always time runs away and before we knew it, we had to leave Amy to meet up with the groom to do his portraits before he met with the registrar. Despite the drizzle the boys were happy to head outside and we worked quickly to ensure that they stayed dry for the ceremony. Michael and the groomsmen looked very smart in their suits from Brides and Grooms of Lincolnshire, and we had a good laugh with grandad Pete whilst doing the photography. The bride was escorted down the aisle by dad Graham and we were able to grab a few quick photographs during ring exchange only, as East Riding Registrars have a strict policy regarding photography during the ceremony. The forecast for the day was terrible with an amber weather warning for localised flooding, and with this in mind, we worked very quickly through the formal family groups. A bit thank you to the brides brother, Chris, who was a very able toastmaster for the day. His help in rounding everyone up was fantastic and ensured that we were able to conclude our photography in super quick time. It was just a well really, since the weather took a turn for the worst later on in the afternoon, with the power cutting off just before best and Peter gave his speak. Torrential rain followed but happily the electricity was soon back on so that guests could continue with the party. Amy and Michael are a lovely couple and we wish them every happiness in their future life together.
