Preview Wedding Photography for Claire and Steven

I am delighted to share with you the preview wedding photography for Claire and Steven who were married at Eastrington Church and held their reception at Boothferry Golf Club on Saturday. We arrived early at the brides home and preparations were well under way. The girls had already had their hair done by Pro Styling in Goole and the make up was well in underway. Claire’s gorgeous dress was from Bridal Oasis in Goole and the look was finished off beautifully with her bouquet from All Occasion Flowers, Howden. The bridesmaids Molly, Anna, Jayne and Holly looked lovely in their sage green dresses and little flower girl Jasmine complete the pretty picture in her gorgeous flower girls dress! We met up with Steven and his best man Lee at the church and unfortunately the rain had set in. We were soon joined by ushers Kevin, Antony and Kevin, and were able to dash outside for some photographs, whist there was a brief respite from the rain. Guests began to arrive and were entertained inside the church by singer Matthew Clarke and the rain kept coming! The bride arrived with her father and they made a spirited dash for the church under the cover of an umbrella, and the all important ceremony was soon underway. The couples son Frankie completely stole the show in church dashing around excitedly and sharing his best monster impressions! The happy couple exited the church once the rain eased, and we managed to grab a few group photographs before everyone made their way to the reception. Once at the golf club, the rain eased for a short while and the little ones (and one bigger ‘boy’!) enjoyed blowing bubbles on the first tee! The marque looked beautiful and following the meal, guests were delighted with a surprise appearance from the Singing Waiters and a good time was had by all! Claire and Steven are a really lovely couple and we very much enjoyed being part of their special day. We wish them every happiness for the future and look forward to sharing all of their wedding photography with them soon.

Lincolnshire Wedding Photographer at Normanby Hall with Samantha and Kenny

We had a lovely day yesterday, doing the wedding photography for Samantha and Kenny, who were married at Holy Trinity Church in Barrow on Humber, and held their wedding reception at Normanby Hall. The day started bright and early with Samantha and her bridesmaids Karen, Linsey and Inessa and little flower girl Taylen.  Samantha was ready early for us which gave us some time to do her bridal portraits outside in the garden. The theme for the wedding was woodland fairies, and in keeping with this, the bride walked barefoot down the aisle to meet her groom Kenny, who looked very handsome in his army uniform. Samantha arrived at church in the car which originally belonged to her grandad, but was driven by Uncle Jason who also gave her away. The happy couple excited the church to the sound of the bells and following the group photographs, everyone headed off to Normanby Hall for a celebratory drink. Our portraits of the couple were done during a brief walk around the gorgeous gardens at Normanby Hall, and as always our time with them was brief and we had to return them to their family and friends. Samantha and Kenny are a lovely couple and we wish them every happiness in their life together and look forward to sharing their full collection of wedding photographs with them.

Wedding photography at the Mercure Grange with Hayley and Gareth

We had a wonderful day yesterday photographing the wedding of Hayley and Gareth at the Mercure Grange Hotel, in Willerby. We started the day at the brides parents house and were made very welcome by Ann and Kevin. The girls were busy getting ready and we got on with our shots of all of the carefully selected detail. Ann almost wore herself out before the day started, running up and down the stairs and making sure everyone had what they needed. Hayley looked stunning in her dress from Confetti and Lace in Leeds and her look was completed with the gorgeous flowers from Bo’Kay’s. Bridemaids, Clairm Natalie, Ellen, Lauren, Rachale, Mia, Ameira and Iyla looked so pretty in their dresses and the little ones had lots of fun pulling up grandmas plants in the garden and attacking grandads shed! We met up with Gareth, and his groomsmen at the hotel and quickly completed their portraits whilst guests began to arrive. The ceremony was soon underway and afterwards the happy couple enjoyed a celebratory drink with friends and family. We were a little pushed for time yesterday which meant that we had to crack on and get the formal group photographs done quickly. This was a bit of a challenge with the little flower girls who just wanted to play about and have fun! We had a lovely chat with Gareth’s Uncle John who had flown all the way from Australia the day before. After the meal Hayley and Gareth came outside and we had a quick twenty minutes within which to do their couple portraits. We had a great day working on this wedding and we wish Hayley and Gareth every happiness together in the future.

I am delighted to share with you the pre wedding photography for Hayley and Gareth who are getting married in a couple of weeks time, at the Mercure Grange in Willerby. We met up with them yesterday evening at the hotel,  and had a really great time with them on the shoot. They are a really lovely couple and were relaxed in front of the camera and really easy to work with. Hull Wedding Photographer at The Millhouse Restaurant with Lucy & John

I am delighted to share with you the preview wedding photography for Lucy & John who were married yesterday, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Hessle, and held their wedding reception at the Millhouse Restaurant in Skidby. We started the day with the bride and her bridesmaid, Laura, Rebecca, Helen and Alex. The atmosphere was happy and relaxed and Lucy’s mum Carol, was busy making everyone, including us, feel right at home. Lucy looked beautifully elegant in her dress which was from the Bridal Oasis and Goole. We took some quick photographs of the bride in the garden before dashing off to meet the groom. We met up with John and his bestmen Matthew and Stephen at the church and had good fun taking their photographs. Time as always, was in short supply and before we knew it, guests soon began to arrive. Father Michael delivered a lovely service and following the ceremony the guests gathered in the garden whilst we did the groom photographs. These were delivered in record time and everyone was soon on their way to the Millhouse. Our thanks to the everyone in the bridal party, for coming with us on a short walk so that we could do something a little different with our photography. We took great care not to damage the crop, walking carefully in the tractor tracks. It was a little overcast but we were very thankful for a dry day. The room at the Millhouse looked wonderful and the happy couple were greeted with a round of applause from family and friends. We had a really lovely and relaxed day with Lucy and John, and their family and friends. We wish them a very happy married life together and look forward to sharing the rest of their wedding photography with them.
