Wedding Photography Lincolnshire- Kirsty & Billie

What a lovely day we had today doing the wedding photography for Kirsty & Billie who were married at one of our favourite venues; Elsham Hall. The good old British weather was determined to curb the photography today but as ever we were not to be beaten by the rain. Despite a deluge, Kirsty, Billy and the  bridal party joined us down on a very muddy lakeside where despite the drizzle we were able to do a couple of rather special shots. Thanks go to the best man Marko and bridesmaid Joanne who were fantastic sports braving some challenging conditions to create the brolly shot! There are so many fabulous options for wedding photography our hardest job is always deciding which ones to choose and today was no exception with the added attraction of the brand new tree swing which features in the final photograph of this set! As ever, Elaine and the team at Elsham Hall went the extra mile for their guests and for us; we so love working with you all; thank you! Kirsty and Billie are a lovely couple and we had great fun with them and their family and friends. We are so looking forward to sharing the rest of their wedding photography with them soon!

Wedding Photography Beverley, East Yorkshire- Helen & Chris

Here are the preview wedding photographs for Helen and Chris who were married today at Tickton Grange near Beverley. The weather was kind and we only had a slight sprinkling of rain whilst we were doing the group shots. Helen and Chris’ family and friends were undeterred and were wonderful helping to create some stylish and fun shots for them to cherish. A big thanks to Chris and his team at Tickton Grange who looked after everyone, including us, so beautifully. This was a really lovely wedding with a genuinely lovely bunch of people and we were particularly happy to grab the candid shot of the happy couple (the last one in the blog) having their own private ‘Cinderella’ moment – not sure what was happening but we think Helen may have had something in her shoe which the gallant groom was more than happy to remove!  We wish Chris and Helen every happiness together and look forward to sharing the rest of their wedding photographs with them soon.

Pre Wedding Photography Lincolnshire – Jade & Billy

Yesterday we did the pre wedding photography for Jade and Billy who are getting married in July. It was a little overcast but thankfully the rain held off giving us some nice soft light for photography. Jade and Billy were really easy to get along with and we enjoyed chatting with them about the arrangements for their big day. We are very much looking forward photographing their wedding,

Wedding Photography Hull & East Yorkshire – Claire and Barry

We are really happy to share with you the preview of the wedding photography for Claire and Barry who were married today in Walkington. From start to finish this was a really beautiful wedding with two of the most lovely people we have ever had the pleasure of working for! There was hardly a dry eye in the church when Barry’s son Ryan  read out his poem and the service was finished with a moving rendition of the Flower Duet during the signing of the register. To complete the magic, the bride (a former bell ringer) joined the bell ringers to celebrate her marriage! We have had such fun with Claire and Barry and their families today and we were made to feel so welcome. As always, we wanted to do some unique shots for Claire and Barry and as they are  regular skydivers and are not afraid of taking a bit of a risk, we were able to give them some shots with a little bit of drama that we hope reflects their zest for lift and spirit of adventure. The hard bit was choosing some photographs for this blog!  We wish Claire and Barry every happiness in their life together and feel very privileged to have been chosen to photograph their wedding.

Wedding Photography Lincolnshire- Laura & Simon

Despite a ‘severe weather warning’ we had a lovely day doing the wedding photography for Laura and Simon yesterday! I am pleased to say that torrential rain failed to put a dampener on their special day at the Forest Pines Hotel near Brigg. We started out as usual with the bride, her mum and her bridesmaids who were all very relaxed and organised. Little bridesmaid Mia was an absolute sweetie and so confident and happy posing for the camera! Shortly before the ceremony we met up with Simon to do a quick portrait of him in between showers before awaiting the arrival of the bride. Following their beautiful ceremony during which Laura’s sister Sarah read out a lovely poem, Laura had a wonderful surprise awaiting for her as Simon had arranged for a very special gift; a car, to be delivered to her on the day! The weather threw every ounce of water it could at this wedding but spirits were high and just when we thought that there was no hope of the rain stopping, the sun came out! Bright summer sunshine was the perfect gift for this really lovely couple. The blog is a little later than usual and that is because I had terrible trouble choosing which pictures to include. Laura and Simon are a really lovely couple and we are very happy that they chose us for their wedding photography. We can’t wait to share the rest of the photographs with them – there are lots!
