Zoey & Paul’s Wedding Photography Elsham Hall, Lincolnshire

We had a fantastic day today photographing the wedding of Zoey and Paul at  Elsham Hall in Lincolnshire. As ever, Elaine and her team looked after everyone beautifully and the barn looked fantastic. The main problem we always have is that Elsham offers so many exciting locations for wedding photography. Those of you familiar with our work will know that we have created some lovely shots on the bridge and also at the storytellers cottage and today was no exception. Apologies though, as only of these shots features in this blog!  Today we wanted to create something unique to Zoey and Paul so we headed to the walled garden and clambered up the mini hill to throw a whole new perspective on things. We had a lot of fun today with the happy couple and their wonderful family and friends and I have had quite a chuckle at some of the shots of the bridesmaids with their daughter Tiana having an absolute ball giving her bridesmaids dress a jolly good ‘swish’! I had a hard time picking the shots for this blog but somehow I have managed it. We wish Zoey and Paul a lifetime of laughter and love!  Thank you for a wonderful day.

Lyndys & Shaun

We have had a really great morning doing the pre wedding photography shoot with Lyndys and Shaun who are getting married in September at the Reeds Hotel in Barton. The Reeds provides some lovely places for wedding photography and we were lucky with the weather with the sun putting in a brief appearance. We scrambled up and down a few steep slopes and clambered through the brambles for some of these shots and we had a bit of fun doing it! We are looking forward to the big day when we can brave the elements once again!

Lauren & Jordan’s Wedding Photography – The Oaklands

We have had a lovely day photographing the wedding of Lauren and Jordan who were married today at St Giles in Scartho. We arrived at the brides house to find everything under control and everyone almost ready. This made our job very easy as we were able to do lots of the photographs before we set off for the church to meet Jordan. We were lucky enough to be able to complete the group photographs before the rain came down so we all headed off to the Oaklands in Laceby where they were having their reception. We took a few shots inside and then the rain stopped so we were able to finish off as planned in the gardens. This wedding was so well organised and our thanks go to the happy couple and their wonderful family and friends who were super quick to respond to our requests! Lauren and Jordan are a lovely couple and we wish them every happiness in the future

Richard & Catherine’s Wedding Photography Cave Castle Hotel

Today we had a really lovely day photographing the wedding of Richard and Catherine who are one of the nicest couples we have ever met. To add to our delight, they were married at one of our favourite venues; Cave Castle Hotel and to top it off the weather was lovely! So all the ingredients for a fantastic collection of wedding photographs were there particularly since Catherine and Richard gave us a very clear steer in terms of the type of photographs they were looking for. Our  biggest challenge today was not the usual lack of time but the wind! Catherine had quite a job hanging on to her veil and we expected to see it disappear at any moment over the roof of the Castle. This was a really relaxed and elegant wedding and the dress Catherine chose quite simply floated on the breeze! Richard’s sisters both live in Australia so I was keen to make sure that this blog was posted quickly. The problem we have had is that there are so many beautiful pictures, it took quite a while to choose! So to Sharon and Lynne (please forgive me if the spelling is wrong!) I hope you enjoy looking at these photographs of your dashing brother and his truly beautiful bride!

Lisa & James Wedding Photography Hull Marina

Todays wedding photographs are of Lisa and James who were married at St Charles church in Hull. We started the day by visiting Lisa and her bridesmaids during the bridal preparations and then headed off to meet James and his best man at the church. Following the service we made our way to to the waterfront area to take some shots of the bride and groom. Lisa and James had a very clear idea of what kind of photographs they were looking for and with this in their minds they choose to hold their reception at the gorgeous 1884 restaurant on the Marina in Hull. Our brief was to use the fabulous interior to create some unusual and stylish images for them. Given how stunning they both looked; it wasnt too much of a challenge!  We wish them much happiness in the future.
