Wedding Photography East Yorkshire – Rebecca & Joe Pre Wedding Photo Shoot at the Hallmark, North Ferriby

This morning we did our final pre wedding photography shoot of the week with Rebecca & Joe who are due to be married in Hedon in May and will hold their wedding reception at the Hallmark Hotel in Ferriby. it was a beautiful spring day in the sunshine and we had a good laugh doing the photos with this lovely couple. Lets hope they get the fabulous sunshine for their wedding day!

Pre Wedding Photography, East Yorkshire – Abi & Mark

We have had a lovely evening with Abi and Mark on their pre shoot. They are having a festival style wedding in May in North Yorkshire and it promises to be quite an event! Posh frocks and wellies are the order of the day with live music, a very special guest, cocktails, canapaes and a hog roast! We love a new challenge when it comes to wedding photography and this wedding has all the elements to provide us with some fun. Watch this space!

Pre Wedding Photography Elsham Hall, Lincolnshire – Kim & Phil

We met Kim and Phil yesterday for their pre wedding photography shoot at the fabulous Elsham Hall. It was a bit blustery but we managed to find some shelter to get our shots and it was lovely to see the daffodils finally coming out! We are looking forward to the wedding which is sure to be fabulous with lots of bridesmaids and flower girls in the photos!

Wedding Photography Lincolnshire – Laura & Lee’s Wedding at the Reeds Hotel, Barton

Here are the preview wedding photographs for Laura and Lee who were married yesterday at the Reeds Hotel in Barton.

I first met Laura and Lee at a wedding fayre. As soon as I saw them coming towards me I knew that I WANTED this wedding! Once they had spoken to me I knew that I definitely wanted this wedding! ┬áLaura and Lee are a really lovely couple and I have been lucky enough to work with them on a number of occasions now. Laura’s beautiful red hair obviously gives her the edge with the ‘wow’ factor but they are both a ‘wow’ in so many other ways. They are funny, adventurous, friendly and willing to take a chance; this was never more evident than on their first dance, which I can safely say was one of the funniest and most moving I have ever seen! Their friends and family were warm, friendly and spirited and there was literally never a dull moment at this amazing wedding!

I should give a word of thanks to my ever suffering husband David who patiently, but diligently puts up with my ridiculous requests to do the impossible with the lighting equipment, and also to my darling god daughter Amelia, who is studying photography and came along with a view to learning something from us. Evidently what she learned was that David and I argue just like her parents but in a more civil fashion!

My final words are for Laura and Lee who are really fantastic people. I just hope that I have done justice to you both and have managed to capture your unique sense of style in the photographs. Thank you so much for choosing us to photograph your wedding; it was a blast!

Andrea & Dave’s Pre Wedding Photo Shoot

Here are the photographs from the last of this weeks pre wedding photoshoots! We have had a busy week with pre shoots and last night we had fun with Andrea and Dave who are getting married later on this year at Cave Castle. These sessions are a great opportunity for us to get to know our clients a little better, to find out what they really want from their wedding photographs and for us to put them at their ease about their wedding photography. Andrea gave us a sneaky preview of the dress which will help us to plan the photography for the day and Dave was really clear about the style he is looking for. Just our sort of clients; good fun, willing to take a few risks to achieve a personal collection of images and very focussed about what they want! Its going to be a great day!
